Cherry City Music blossoms

Salem’s low-key celebration of local music and culture blossoms April 4-6 with more than 40 bands playing in 10 venues. Check the schedule here.
Highlights include Hip Hop on the Capitol Steps, alt-folk at Franklin’s Bottle Shop and hard rock at Blacklite Lounge. So gather up your friends, pick a genre and enjoy your neighbors’ talent downtown. Because this is Salem, all shows are free.

After years of free shows, now you show everyone you care about local shows. Donate $10 to Salem Creative Network here and get a Festival Friend Bracelet to show that you support local culture. It’s good for a laugh, smile and hug from fellow believers in Salem culture.
